Abraham Hicks and the
Universal laws of Attraction
As a long time student of Abraham Hicks and the Universal laws of Attraction, many of the How-To Law of Attraction exercises that I have developed and discuss on this site are designed to complement the work of the Teachings of Abraham.
In my opinion, Esther Hicks and the Teachings of Abraham / Abraham Hicks are the definitive source of information and expertise on the Universal Laws of Attraction. However, I also find that much of what is heard in their workshops can be difficult to understand and assimilate sometimes... They speak very quickly, use gestures and metaphors that are not particularly common, and are simultaneously communicating with the person who is asking the question (the person "on the hot-seat") in a super-conscious (intuitive) way.
...I should know, I have been on the hot-seat at an Abraham-Hicks workshop more than once, and I have definitely had the experience of comprehending their answer to me on a much deeper level than what was communicated in words alone. And, just being in the room during a workshop, one FEELS the answer being given in addition to hearing it. It is THAT kind of understanding that I seek to share with you.

Combining teachings from Abraham & others
It is my mission on this site to use my own understanding of the Law of Attraction, gained from attending and listening to hundreds of Abraham Hicks / Abraham Art of Allowing workshops, as well as from many other sources, including Rev. Michael Beckwith (Agape International Spiritual Center), Napoleon Hill, Louise Hay, Wallace Wattles, and the teachings of Religious Science, to translate the Law of Attraction / teachings of Abraham into a form that is easy to apply to REAL LIFE!

It is also a wonderful example of how their teachings are delivered.
As you listen, try to expand your own understanding of the analogies that they use, like "having your hand on the stove" to mean all the little, subtle ways, we allow ourselves to think about, read about, talk about, and focus on the myriad of subjects which bring us negative emotions. When you are feeling bad, because you are the one who is thinking about something that does not inspire you to feel good, happy, and optimistic, that you "have your hand on the stove" in that moment. Taking your hand off the stove is to deliberately shift your attention OFF of what inspires negative feelings to rise within you, and instead either clarify what you would RATHER experience or think of something that is pleasant for you, or both!
Of course, there is already a tremendous amount of basic, foundational information about the Law of Attraction and Abraham Hicks out there, so I will not be re-inventing the wheel on this site… If you want to investigate more of the basics (as well as the origins of the Abraham-Hicks teachings) I would suggest you start with the Abraham Hicks website.
